How You Can Help

UPDATE -- Tara Farm is in desperate need of shed-row stalls. Due to the current condition of an existing barn (Buster's Barn), the facility will be demolishing this structure. Tara Farm is reaching out in an effort to obtain a charitable donation to fund this shed row project.

Each of us can help make a difference in ending the unwanted horse problem. When it comes to horse ownership, breeding, adoptions, and end-of-life decisions — all factors that affect the number of unwanted horses — the actions we take as individuals can make an enormous cumulative impact over time. There’s no quick fix here ... but we can begin doing something about it.

Donate Money, Feed, Volunteer your time and spread the word.

We currently have 30 equines in need at Tara Farm Rescue, all with individual needs, health issues, feeding program etc... In additional we have various other farm animals in need as well. Their are a number of ways you can help by:

  1. Donating money to Tara Farm Rescue
  2. By comitting to volunteering your time.
  3. Sponsor a horse in need of help.
  4. Participate in on our 'Brick by Brick' fundraiser.
  5. Country Supply, presented by ( horse.com ) gives us points back for each product you buy. Please mention Tara Farm Rescue. (Feel free to buy us something from our wish list too)!
  6. Lastly, another great way to give is by purchasing items from our "wish list".

We desperately need Grant writers! Please email us if you know of anyone who is willing to help.

 asking our supporters to register on ZooToo, which is free and easy.  Then
 choose Tara Farm as your favorite shelter.  Each time you log in to review
 a product, or post a photo of your pets, it earns us points towards
 various rewards.  More detailed instructions are below.  Its a fun and
 easy way to interact with other pet lovers and support your favorite
 shelter!

 Go to zootoo.com/makeover - click on JOIN US - you then need to set up a
 profile (which just invloves your email address) - You will need to know
 Tara Farm's zip code which is 06238 - it will then list all shelters in
 Coventry - click on Tara Farm Rescue.  Zootoo will then email you a
 confirmation, it is then you MUST click on a link in order for your points
 to go to Tara Farm.
